Enjoy a September evening with a Walk in Sugarcreek Reserve with Doug Vanderlees. Doug is a long time Master Gardener, Cox Arboretum volunteer, a retired Botany teacher and a wine lover.  He will take us on an informative walk through the Native Grass Prairie section of  the reserve. Meet at the big parking lot on conference road at 5:00 for about a 45 minute medium challenging walk. (no hills to speak of). Following the walk  Doug and Liz Betz are hosting a Perfect Pairing Grill-Out at their home right off of Conference Rd. Plan to be there about 6:30 and your hiking clothes are proper attire.  Bring a bottle of wine per person to share. Cost is $20 for a grill out meal of barbeque brisket, cheeze potatoes, coleslaw and other traditional grill out items.

PARKING IS LIMITED SO CARPOOLING IS ENCOURAGED. 

Their home is at the corner of Conference Rd and Ferry Rd in Sugarcreek Township (phone:848-3095). There will be a party sign at their driveway.
