PARπY LIKE IT'S 3.14159.....
Pi Day! Help us Celebrate the Math Constant Whose Fun Never Ends.
Yes, pi (π) that funny-looking Greek letter that represents the ratio of a circle’s circumference to it’s diameter. The first Pi Day was held in 1988 in San Francisco as a way to draw greater attention to science technology, engineering, and math (STEM) fields. This special math holiday corresponds with Albert Einstein’s birthday on March 14 (3.14 — get it?)
Please bring any type of π - pizza, apple, chicken pot,
pasty, razzleberry, shepherds...and pair it with an interesting wine to share. We even have a Pi game for those choosing to participate.
Be there or be square!
Pi festivities start at 4 PM.
Guests are welcome. If you know someone who would enjoy MVIFS activities, please invite them to our Pi celebration.
