HAWAIIAN LUAU

Hosts: Adam & Stacie Remaly, Bob & Jeanne Evans, Charlie & Ginny McKenzie 

This special event will be held at the McKenzie Hale, 2844 Wilmington Dayton Rd, Bellbrook, OH 45305. Charlie and Ginny, ably assisted by Adam, Stacie, Bob, and Jeanne, will use their 12 years of living in Hawaii to bring you a close-to-authentic Hawaiian Luau right here in Ohio. You'll be greeted at the entrance with a Mai Tai or Blue Hawaiian cocktail and there will be beautiful Hawaiian music playing in the background.

The luau menu will include Huli Huli chicken, Kalua pork, steamed rice, Hawaiian mac salad, and Hawaiian purple poi. (You probably won't like the poi, but you must try at least a spoonful.)  Ginny says we'll also include a green salad for those health-conscious attendees. We'll have water to drink, but you're welcome to bring your own wine or beer if you want.

After we eat, lovely ("nani" in Hawaiian) Stacie will offer to teach everyone the Hukilau.  This is a famous hula dance that is simple but very beautiful. We urge all of you to dress for the occasion in your favorite Hawaiian shirt, muumuu, grass skirt, or coconut bra.

This event starts at 5:30 PM with food being served between 6:00 and 6:30. Member cost is $35.  This is a "Members Only" event except for individual members who may bring one guest. Attendance will be limited to the first 65 registrants, but a wait list will be established when the registration limit is reached.
