Zoom Virtual Wine Tasting

Please join us for our first ever Zoom Virtual Wine Tasting Event on Tuesday, May 12th.  We've collaborated with Chris Holloway, owner of Rumbleseat Wine, to organize  a virtual wine tasting featuring Rose wines paired with a selection of cheeses.  Corinne and Rose will kick off the meeting, introduce Chris who will talk about our first wine/cheese pairing.  Then Zoom will separate us into smaller 'break-out' sessions for 5 minutes to discuss the wine.  Next, we will rejoin the main event and hear about our 2nd wine and have a 2nd break-out session.  Finally we will rejoin the main event for social time.

Details: Cost is $45 for 2 bottles of Rose wine with cheese pairings.  You can pickup your 'Spirit Bags' with wine and cheese between Thursday, May 7th and Tuesday, May 12th at Rumbleseat Wine on Far Hills in Centerville. Rumbleseat is open between 10AM & 4PM.

Here's the process:

• Register online - same as our regular events. We'll tell Rumbleseat Wine how many people are attending.  Rumbleseat will create 'Spirit Bags' with our wine and cheese.
• Call Rumbleseat to let Chris know when you would like to pick up your Spirit Bag and to give him your credit card payment info.
• When you arrive for pickup (between 10AM & 4PM), if you prefer not to go into the store, call Chris (937-938-9801) and Chris will bring your Spirit Bag to your car.
• On May 12th before joining the meeting, open your wine and cheeses and get your wine glasses ready.
• Click on the meeting link that was sent to you via email and it will take you to the Zoom meeting.  Please check into the meeting 10 minutes ahead of time so we can answer any setup questions before the meeting starts. You should be able to talk to the other people who have already signed in prior to the meeting.  (Note: Zoom guidelines have been posted on our website at mvifs.wildapricot.org)

Keep in mind that this is our first 'virtual' event so we're learning as we go.  Hopefully there will be no technical surprises during the meeting.  To help us manage the event, we're limiting registration to 20 members.  Hope to 'see' you there!
