17 October 2024 Road Tour, not a Rallye!

We are starting from Tipp City in the Menards parking lot at 1:30PM. We will provide maps of our tour later.  There will be no cost for this event.  Your cost will be anything you purchase at the winery at Versailles and dinner or overnight accommodations at the Versailles Hotel.  The winery is expecting our MVIFS group and if you need to call, the number is 937-526-3232.  You can purchase wine bottles, samples of wine and cheese and cracker snacks at the winery.  

Afterward we will meet at the hotel bar area to socialize before dinner.  Please make your reservations for dinner or overnight accommodations by calling *937-526-3020.*  The dining room has seating if you want to sit with your social group at tables of 4, 6, 8 or 12 people. Again, please call the Hotel to make your dinner/hotel reservations.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, 17 October for our MVIFS jaunt through the countryside, 2024 edition. We'll be heading out from the Menards parking lot in Tipp City at 1:00PM. Following route instructions, we'll take back roads through the fall colors in Miami, Shelby, and Darke counties, with points of interest along the way.  Once we reach Versailles, our first stop will be the Winery at Versailles for a flight of their fine wines and some snacks. From there we'll drive into Versailles, with some time to walk or drive through the historic downtown, before our final stop at the beautiful Hotel Versailles. At the Hotel, there are several options available for dinner for those who wish to partake. Also, you can make this into a mini vacation by reserving one of the Hotel's beautiful rooms for an overnight stay. 

Mike and Carol Self are our Tour Masters and have mapped out a fun afternoon of touring interesting sites and back roads of our Northern counties.
